DRAFT. This text describes how the Bisserv system works today. A UAE lawyer must review it before Bisserv goes live.

What we collect

  • Customers: mobile number (checked with a code), name, delivery addresses and map pins you save, your orders (items, amounts, times, order type, where the order came from), and reviews.
  • Cafes: business details, staff logins, menus, settings, and orders.
  • Riders: name, mobile number, deliveries, how customers paid, and photos taken at the door if the rider adds one.
  • On your device: your cart, language and sign-in are kept in your browser so you stay signed in.

Why we use it

  • To take your order to the cafe and its rider, and show you live status.
  • To keep your account, saved addresses and order history.
  • To help when something goes wrong with an order.

Who sees it

The cafe you order from sees your name, phone, address and order. Its rider sees what they need to deliver. The Bisserv team can see orders to give support; phone numbers are hidden in lists and every time a full order is opened, it is logged. We do not sell your data.

How we measure the website

On bisserv.com and the cafe store pages we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see how people use the pages so we can make them better. They are not used in the cafe portal, the rider app or the Bisserv admin.

  • What they record: pages visited, clicks and scrolling, device and browser type, rough location (city or country), and steps such as adding to cart, checking out, placing an order (order number, items and amount) or creating an account. Clarity also makes recordings of visits.
  • What they don't get: we never send your name, phone, email or address to them. In Clarity recordings, what you type and your personal details shown on the page are hidden.
  • Cookies: both tools keep small files (cookies) in your browser to tell one visit from the next.
  • How long: Google Analytics keeps this data for 14 months. Clarity keeps recordings for a shorter time.

Google and Microsoft process this data under their own privacy policies.

Bisserv also counts store visits itself, so each cafe can see how many people opened its store and how many ordered. Only the count is kept, with the day, hour and whether the visit came from a QR code or a link. Nothing about who visited is stored.

Your choices

  • Delete your account: My account → Delete my account. Your name, phone and addresses are removed. The cafe keeps order numbers and amounts for its accounts.

The law

We aim to follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and the rules for each emirate. To be confirmed by legal review.
